Why Film?
Film Photography offers a tangible, tactile experience that digital photography can't replicate. It requires you to be intentional with every shot- so each picture is special in its own way. Film has such a unique aesthetic, characterized by its grain, color rendition, and dynamic range, often yielding timeless and nostalgic images.
The Film Process
Step 1: Shoot film
This is my favorite step- where we work together with 35 mm film to make your vision come to life. I don't see the pictures until they are developed!
Step 2: Develop + scan film
After our session, I mail my film to a lab in California. They then chemically develop and scan the film, and send it back to me.
Step 3: Minor editing + delivery
After I receive the digital images from the lab, I do some very minor editing and then I send them to you!
